About me
I was born and raised in Korea and have been living in Boston since 2022. Before discovering my passion for design, I worked in the media industry in South Korea. Now, I am a multidisciplinary designer driven by creativity and innovation. My skills span illustration, motion design, coding, type design, information design, and my latest fascination, sound design. I aim to integrate these tools to create meaningful and unique projects that represent me and resonate with others.

Buddhism
Born and raised in Korea, I was exposed to Buddhism naturally. At first I liked the experience of going to the Buddhist temple in the deep mountains where it offers peace of mind surrounded by nature. Later, it helped me to see beyond my daily obstacles or challenges to find meaning in the long term and not be discouraged in failures. Also, it helped me to put down my ego and view myself as a part of a holistic system, respecting and supporting the emotional well beings of other people, animals, and all living things.
What I enjoy
I like running, strength training, yoga, cooking, baking, playing guitar, and decorating interiors! Keeping health, having fun and building connections in my personal life is important to get inspired and continue creating.
Photography
Before finding a passion for design, photography was a huge part of my creative juice. During my downtime, I take my camera on a trip and find graphical elements in the cityscape, taking portraits to highlight individual uniqueness, or just capturing my everyday surroundings.
